The real history of pug is not so clear. We know that dogs from similar breed belonged to Buddhist monasteries from Tibet before year 400.
Some experts said the Pugs are from West Europe and they were moved to Tibet by some European merchants. Another theory said: The Pug is the result from a crossbreeding between french mastiff and small bulldog.
The Pug was present in many reach houses and regal courts during the history. In 1572 the Pug became the official dog of Orange House Holland after it saved William’s life, the Orange Price of Holland. In 1790the Pug became Josephine’s (Napoleon’s wife) company dog. Kuvasz is one of the best sheeps protector.
The Kucasz is hail from Tibet and many people belive it is related to the Komodor. Initialy it was used to protect the sheeps and cows. This dog was also used to hunt the boars.

Even if it is still used in Hungary to protect sheeps, The Komondor become a very loved company dog.
During World War II, the Komodorok were used to protect military equipments. In the time many dogs have died on duty.
The Komondor temperament is like other guardian dogs. In case of trouble, it will try to defend his charges, otherwise it is a calm and steady. It is extremely gentle with the children of the family and affectionate with its family and friends. If it don’t fell the danger the Komondor will accept strangers but it will be wary with them.
