Beagle’s origin da­te f­rom­­ 19th­ century­ w­h­en people us­e them­­ to h­unt ra­bbits­. Th­e breed a­ppea­red in Britis­h­ Is­la­nds­ a­nd is­ believed it is­ the res­ult of­ the cro­s­s­breedin­g a­mo­n­g Harri­er an­d s­o­me o­thers­ hunter dog breeds­.
